The Complete List of American Made Clothing Brands
Contents
About this list
American made clothing brands choose to make their clothing in the USA because of their company’s ethos. Some brands believe hands-on manufacturing makes their product better. Some feel a responsibility to support their local communities. And others see local manufacturing as a way to improve transparency and sustainability.
The brands on this list claim to cut and sew a reasonable percentage of their clothing in the USA. These brands use domestic or imported fabrics, please verify on each brands product pages.
If you want to suggest a brand to be added to this list or see an error on this list, please email us. No commissions are made from the links below. This list is managed by Todd Shelton, a men’s clothing manufacturer in New Jersey.

Preserving American-made
At Todd Shelton, we believe a country needs manufacturing. The decline of American manufacturing is relatively new, and we don’t know with certainty if America would be better or worse today, or 30 years from today, if we had chosen to be more supportive of our domestic manufacturing sectors.
Since we don’t fully understand how manufacturing or the lack of manufacturing affects innovation, our existing and future businesses, our less-metropolitan communities, our economy, and the culture of our society – we believe we must preserve our capacity to manufacture.
Todd Shelton is men’s clothing brand based in New Jersey. Founded by Tennessee native Todd Shelton, the brand’s collections offer industry-leading fits that are manufactured in the company’s NJ factory and sold exclusively online.
