Chest, stomach, and elbow are measured flat across the garment.
Stomach and elbow measurements are for the standard fit. Slim is 1" less wide at the stomach and 1/2" at the elbow.
Placket length measurements are for the standard lengths.

Shirt size is determined by shoulder and chest width. Eight sizes, each 1/2 inch wider across the shoulders and 1 inch wider across the chest than the size before it.
How to measure chest and shoulders
Button the placket. Lay the shirt face up on a flat, rigid surface. Chest: measure across the shirt, 1 inch below the armhole. Shoulders: measure across the shoulder seams, point to point.
Three collar options: Standard, point, and button-down. All three share the same size and shape. Standard is the collar on standard orders in all fabrics except oxford. Button-down is standard on oxford fabrics. Point is available only through additional adjustments.
Button-down collars have buttons on the outside of the collar. Point collars have no outside buttons. Hidden buttons keep the collar from spreading; their use is optional, and they should not be used with a tie. Point collars also have sleeves for collar stays.
How to measure neck width
Unbutton the shirt and lay it flat on a rigid surface. Place the tape across the center of the collar band, button center to buttonhole center.
Two fits: Slim and Standard. Fit affects stomach and sleeve width; shoulder width is the same for both. Slim is 1 inch narrower at the stomach and 1/2 inch narrower at the bicep/elbow than Standard. Standard measurements are in the size chart.
How to measure fit
Lay the shirt face up on a flat, rigid surface. Smooth out wrinkles and folds, including any folded under the back of the shirt. Stomach: measure across the shirt, halfway between the armhole and the bottom hem. Sleeve: measure across the sleeve, at the elbow.
Sleeve lengths available from 32 to 36 inches in one inch increments. 31 and 37 inches are available in additional adjustments.
How to measure sleeve length
Sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam, so total sleeve length adds half the shoulder width to the sleeve measurement. Measure down the sleeve, from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Measure across the shoulders and divide by 2. Add the two numbers. Example: a 25-inch sleeve measurement and a 9.5-inch half-shoulder width give a 34.5-inch sleeve length.
Seven lengths, in 1-inch increments. Five lengths, from 2 inches shorter to 2 inches longer than Standard, are available in standard order. The 3-inch shorter and 3-inch longer lengths are made to order in additional adjustments.

Length is measured along the placket, from the seam where the collar band meets the placket to the bottom hem.
