Consistency: Fits and fabrics do not change between seasons or years. The same three mills have supplied the fabrics for over a decade.

Sourcing: Selvedge denim is sourced from Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. The relationship has been continuous since 2012.

Jeans are offered across four dimensions: Waist, Thigh Fit, Rise, Length. Thigh fits: Lean, Basic, Relaxed, Athletic.

Waist: 28 to 40 inches in 1-inch increments.

Inseams: 26 to 38 inches in 1-inch increments. Longer or shorter available on request.

Rises: standard and high-rise.

Shirts and t-shirts are offered in standard and in-between sizes (S/M, M/L, L/XL). In-between sizes sit between small and medium, between medium and large, and between large and extra-large.

Sleeve Lengths: 32 to 36 inches in 1-inch increments (Shirts).

Body Lengths: Five distinct length options optimized for height proportions.

The fits do not change between seasons or years.

Todd Shelton is from Johnson City, Tennessee. He moved to New York City in 2000, worked in apparel production, and attended Parsons School of Design at night. He launched the brand's first product in 2003 and sold at street markets in SoHo. He launched the e-commerce site in 2005 and transitioned to the brand full-time in 2009. He established the East Rutherford, New Jersey factory in early 2012, and relocated manufacturing operations to Paterson, New Jersey in late 2025.
