Original 13

Original 13 Light wash is an all-cotton men's jean made in the USA from 13 oz Japanese selvedge denim. 13 oz is the heavier of the two weights in the collection. Selvedge denim is woven on a narrow shuttle loom, producing a self-finished edge on the outseams. The fabric has been sourced from Kuroki mills since 2012. The jean is made in-house at the Todd Shelton New Jersey factory. Original 13 is the longest-running product in the collection.

Original 13 is available in four thigh fits: Lean, Basic, Relaxed, and Athletic, in standard and high rise. Waist sizes are available in one-inch increments from 28–40. Inseams start at 26" for shorter men and extend to 38" for taller men, available in one-inch increments.

Light wash is a light blue denim with a broken-in feel. The factory uses light hand-sanding and an enzyme wash to reduce color depth uniformly across the jean, leaving the denim free of artificial wear patterns. The denim is washed before the jean is made. After construction, the jean is washed again. Every jean goes through a 6-point measurement check before shipping.
