  • 2XL
  • 2XL/3XL

How to Measure Shoulders

To gauge your Todd Shelton t-shirt size, you can measure a t-shirt you already own.

Start with your best fitting t-shirt through the shoulders. Lay your t-shirt face down on a rigid table (not a bed or other soft surface) like shown below. Measure from shoulder point to shoulder point.

Measure again to make sure your measurements are consistent. Match your measurement to the list below.

  • Labeled Size = Shoulder Measurement
  • S = 16 3/8
  • S/M = 16 7/8
  • M = 17 3/8
  • M/L = 17 7/8

Measure your best fitting t-shirt across the chest – this may be the same or a different t-shirt than you used for the shoulder measurement. Lay your t-shirt face up on a rigid table and measure 1″ below the armhole, across the t-shirt (like shown below).

How to Measure Men's T-Shirts: Sleeve width

If you have larger than average biceps, you’ll need Standard Sleeve Fit. If your biceps are average or leaner than average, Slim Sleeve Fit is a popular option.

How to Measure Sleeve Fit

Sleeve fit for SHORT SLEEVES is measured across the sleeve opening. Sleeve fit for LONG SLEEVES is measured across the elbow.

You can measure a t-shirt you already own, like shown above. Compare your measurement to our T-Shirt Size Chart.

Sleeve Length

We offer sleeve lengths for LONG SLEEVE T-Shirts in 1″ increments. For SHORT SLEEVE, we offer two sleeve lengths: 7.5 inch and 9 inch.

How to Measure Sleeve Length

Sleeve Length requires basic math to calculate. To calculate Sleeve Length, you need to combine two measurements: 1) your sleeve length and 2) half of your shoulder width (the width of the shoulders has an impact on sleeve length).

To gauge your Long Sleeve sleeve length, you can measure a t-shirt you already own.

How to Measure Men's T-Shirts: Sleeve Length

Choose your t-shirt with the best sleeve length. First, measure down the sleeve, from top of the shoulder seam to end of cuff, like shown above. Next, measure across the shoulders (as we described earlier in the article), and divide by 2. Then add those two measurements.

For example, if your sleeve length measured 25″ and half of your total shoulder measurement is 9.5″ – your sleeve length totals 34.5″.

How to Measure Men's T-Shirts:

For Short Sleeves, measure from the shoulder seam to sleeve opening, like shown above.

Overall Length

Your height and belly size will determine your necessary overall length. We offer 5 Overall Length options.

  • Length (Ranking of popularity)
  • 2″ Shorter (4%)
  • 1″ Shorter (12%)
  • Standard (65%)
  • 1″ Longer (10%)
  • 2″ Longer (9%)

How to Measure Overall Length

We measure Overall Length from the highest point of the shoulder down to t-shirts bottom hem.
