Our Brand Of Restraint
We love the notion of patience. We're building our women’s line slowly, focusing on garments we can execute better than other brands in terms of fit, quality and style. Our collection centers on three key pieces - skinny jeans, button-up shirts and shirtdresses. Be patient with us and watch this unique collection unfold.
Turns out, seersucker comes from a Hindi word, 'sirsakar'. I read it was made popular by the Brits, I guess when they spent all that time in India. It's great in hot weather, doesn't need to be ironed, travels well. I could even leave it open and use it as a cover up at the pool or beach this summer - and it won't stick to my skin.$235
Did you know Covergirl changed its slogan from 'Easy, Breezy, Beautiful' to 'I am what I make up'? That's so cool. I have to admit, it got me thinking what could I make up for myself? I could make up a theme for my Summer look! Today at work, I jotted down a bunch of themes, and I came up with 'easy, breezy.'$235
We're definitely going to Amsterdam this Summer. I even checked flight prices last night. And I'm going to wear this dress! The highs in July are like 72 there, so I'll need a light sweater, for the nights. And I just found out you can definitely wear a dress and ride a bike, without flashing people, I googled it.$235
Flared, cropped jeans will say I know what's hot...mainly in the suburbs. Ripped and frayed jeans will say I have an underlying edge that people don't give me credit for. High-rise jeans, with a bunch of extra buttons, will say I'm youthful but socially aware at the same time! But my skinny jeans won't say any of that.$215
I dreamed about our future farm again this morning, waking up to coffee brewing, warm fresh air coming through our screen door. Just like in Bridges of Madison County. Our pet pig was rolling around like he does when he's happy, scratching his back, I even looked around for an injured gnat to throw in the spider's web.$185
I've been looking at t-shirts online. I looked at James Perse, Rag & Bone, Sezane, yada, yada, even Everlane. Everything has big open necks, muscle sleeves, some kind of tissue-y/slubby fabric, curved hems, lace. I saw one that even had lattice work. Can I just get a t-shirt like a dude for pete's sake.$65
