Product Information

Selvedge denim is woven slower on old looms; this process compared to modern loom weaving results in a more interesting denim surface texture and in many cases a denser weave.

Washed and hand-sanded to give you a head start on breaking in your denim; no artificial whiskering or grinding. Resin is added to help minimize color loss and maintain an authentic rigid denim feel. No softeners are added.

  • 13.5 oz cotton denim selvedge
  • Zip fly

Fit Guide

Two core fits are available: Watts Regular/Trim Straight Leg and the Harvester Regular/Full Straight Leg. Both fits are similar in proportion. The Watts is similar to the industry standard jean fit. The Harvester is similar to a relaxed fit. The Watts Narrow is the same fit as the Watts Regular/Trim through the waist and seat, narrowing at the knee and bottom opening.

Base your waist selection on your industry standard waist. We add a touch of extra room to our waist specifications for ease. If we need to make fit adjustments to the initial fit you order, we can tweak the fit up or down through an exchange.

It’s important to us that we place you in the right fit. We encourage you to use our free return and exchange service, when necessary, to ensure a proper fit. We will follow up with you a few days after order receipt to determine if fit adjustments are necessary.

Care Suggestions

We suggest washing your jeans sparingly; only when obviously necessary. Each time you machine wash your jeans, you strip away a touch of color; infrequent washing prevents this color loss. The beauty of infrequent washing is in preserving the desirable high and low wear marks you create while breaking in your jeans. The 'high' color is the lighter areas caused by abrasion or wear (around the pockets, seat and knees). The 'low' color is the darker areas that do not see such abrasion. The difference between this high and low color is what makes your jeans unique.

Before machine washing, turn jeans inside out to reduce surface abrasion. Wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry, low heat. Hang dry if possible.

Dark jeans may lose color during wear. Crocking (the technical term for denim color loss) is natural with any dark jean. Wash separately initially, then with like colors.
