We use the word "American" to describe the United States. Technically, America makes up North and South America; however our usage of "America" is only in relation to the USA.
We use denim from America's only privately owned premium denim mill. Our American denim comes from a family owned mill located in Georgia; their focus is on specialty denim instead of commodity denim. There are only three denim mills in the USA; the other two denim mills are large commodity driven, investment owned firms.
We use American supima cotton; grown in the American southwest, spun into yarn in Georgia and knitted into fabric in North Carolina. Supima is considered the best of cotton; soft, long fibers ensure a comfortable, durable product.
There's only one Khaki fabric mill in the USA; producing a quality fabric that has been used in high quality American Khakis for decades.
